About

Named for Eugene. Built on his standard.

A neighborhood shop in Richmond built around one idea: nobody leaves the chair before the cut is finished.

Our Story

A Grandfather's Legacy

In 1963, a man named Eugene opened a barbershop in Richmond, VA. It wasn't just a place to get a haircut — it was a place of community, pride, and purpose.

Before he passed in 2010, Eugene passed down more than just barbering skills. He passed down knowledge, discipline, and love for the craft to his grandson.

Today, that legacy lives on.

Eugene's Legacy was created to honor where it all began — family, history, and generations of excellence. This is more than a barbershop. This is a continuation of a story that started over 60 years ago.

When you sit in our chair, you're becoming part of that legacy.
